Last week I was talking apps and this week I’m shilling Twitter. The first person who says I’m addicted to all things electronic gets a sharp stick in the eye.
But, hey! My addiction benefits you! I have a list of ten lovely Twitter accounts to check out if you’re planning a wedding, thinking of having one one day, are obsessed with weddings, or even if you hate them and just want to learn more about them so you can know your enemy (seems unlikely, but I don’t want to leave anyone out).
Whichever camp you happen to fall into, here they are! Happy Twittering!
MarthaStewartWeddings – @MarthaWeddings. Duh. Martha.
The Knot – @TheKnot. Boasts a huge selection of products and a massive database of gowns, the website is one of the most well-known in the biz.
Ruffled – @ruffledblog. Gorgeous blog for indie, vintage, and DIY brides. Utterly inspiring.
Real Simple Magazine – @RealSimple. Tips for making every day better, but also your big day.
Colin Cowie – @colincowie. If you’re a Bravo TV junkie like myself, you know him because of Kim Z. Otherwise known as celebrity event planner for names such as Oprah and Paula Abdul.
Disney Weddings – @DisneyWeddings. Whether you’re having a Disney affair or just want to bring a little magic to your day, this one to check out.
WeddingWire – @WeddingWire. Offers the largest vendor catalog and techie tools to get things done.
Southern Weddings – @ilovesw. Whether you are a southern belle geographically or at heart, this one will do you right. Y’all.
BRIDES – @brides. If you’re going to spend money on one of those huge magazines, why not check out their Twitter feed for free? Popular for a reason — tips and inspiration galore.
Have any great accounts you’re following that I missed? Leave me a comment! Till next week!
